Radiation Detected In Drinking Water In 13 More US Cities

....Radiation from Japan has been detected in drinking water in 13 more American cities, and cesium-137 has been found in American milk—in Montpelier, Vermont—for the first time since the Japan nuclear disaster began, according to data released by the Environmental Protection Agency late Friday.
....Milk samples from Phoenix and Los Angeles contained iodine-131 at levels roughly equal to the maximum contaminant level permitted by EPA, the data shows. The Phoenix sample contained 3.2 picoCuries per liter of iodine-131. The Los Angeles sample contained 2.9. The EPA maximum contaminant level is 3.0, but this is a conservative standard designed to minimize exposure over a lifetime, so EPA does not consider these levels to pose a health threat.
....The cesium-137 found in milk in Vermont is the first cesium detected in milk since the Fukushima-Daichi nuclear accident occurred last month. The sample contained 1.9 picoCuries per liter of cesium-137, which falls under the same 3.0 standard... (full story)

California Seizing Property from Safety Deposit Boxes

....As reported by ABC News, what started out as a program to hold unclaimed property, such as the contents of safety deposit boxes owned by people who have moved away without a forwarding address, has gone wildly out of control. The program is now using the flimsiest of excuses to drill safe deposit boxes and sell the contents.
....In a case reminiscent of the Monty Python organ donor skit (or perhaps the movie Repo Men), a San Francisco woman’s jewelry appraised at over $80,000 was sold even though she lived a few blocks from her bank, had not moved, and was current on all of her box rental feeds. In another case, a man’s retirement savings consisting of $4 million of stock certificates were sold; and “A Sacramento family lost out on railroad land rights their ancestors had owned for generations”.
....The program began life as a place to hold unclaimed property for up to 5 years while the state made attempts to locate the owner. Both the holding period and the efforts to locate the owner have diminished over time. ABC news indicates that there have been internal debates within the state on these changes, with an internal memo objecting to efforts to to find the owners on the grounds that “It could well result in additional claims of monies that would otherwise flow into the general fund..." Japan’s Nuclear Crisis Debacle and the Depopulation Agenda

....After experiencing a devastating earthquake, resulting tsunami and leaking nuclear reactors, the Japanese government’s priority is not in saving lives and rebuilding Japan’s infrastructure, but rather saving a financial asset of Tokyo Electric Power Company (the nuclear facility) at the expense of the health and safety of the entire Northern Hemisphere. It has been over a week since Fukushima Reactor 3 exploded releasing deadly radiation. Reactor 4 is known to be leaking as well. Nonetheless, the Japanese government still has not covered the reactors with concrete and sand to stop the radiation leak, as was eventually done at Chernobyl. The leaking reactors could have been covered and sealed in a matter of days if not hours using aircraft to drop tons of sand and concrete around the clock. Instead, Japan continues the risky venting of radioactive gas to relieve a new spike in pressure in its troubled nuclear reactors.
....While the initial damage to the nuclear plant could be attributed to the Tsunami that devastated Japan (a natural event assuming that HAARP or other technology was not involved), the lack of government action to protect the public demonstrates extreme incompetence of Japanese Prime Minister Naoto Kan, if not malice.
....Contrary to government propaganda distributed by the mainstream media, there is no safe dose of radiation. Dr. Chris Busby, Scientific Secretary of the European Committee on Radiation Risk, states that the leaked radiation from Fukushima will have a negative health impact on the people of Japan and the United States. Editor's Note: The day of the disaster at the Fukushima nuclear complex began, I began searching for a source for Potassium Iodide, as I have two god daughters in the Pacific NW at risk from the radiation exposure from the Japanese reactor disasters. I discovered that U.S. government agents had seized virtually all of the essential nutrient, without warning or explanation, from every manufacturer and distributor in the U.S. Their cover story has so far been that "they are trying to protect us from abusing the drug, even hurting ourselves by overdosing." Anyone who believes this cover story is sadly deluded. Ask yourself this: Would you rather risk thyroid damage from too much Potassium Iodide, or from the effects of general radiation poisoning? Think people!

It is obvious that government agents seized the entire supply for themselves while denying it from the masses... in support of their global depopulation agenda. They want us to sicken and die in great numbers, like our brothers and sisters still living in the Corexit poisoned Gulf coast. This is just another example of the sociopathic mindset typical of the globalist elite, who are herding us like cattle to the slaughter house.

I soon found out that you could protect your thyroid glands from radiation uptake by swabbing ordinary tincture of Iodine on your skin, as it is readily absorbed in this way. Now tincture of Iodine is also in very short supply.

The Great Food Crisis of 2011

....As the new year begins, the price of wheat is setting an all-time high in the United Kingdom. Food riots are spreading across Algeria. Russia is importing grain to sustain its cattle herds until spring grazing begins. India is wrestling with an 18-percent annual food inflation rate, sparking protests. China is looking abroad for potentially massive quantities of wheat and corn. The Mexican government is buying corn futures to avoid unmanageable tortilla price rises. And on January 5, the U.N. Food and Agricultural organization announced that its food price index for December hit an all-time high.
But whereas in years past, it's been weather that has caused a spike in commodities prices, now it's trends on both sides of the food supply/demand equation that are driving up prices. On the demand side, the culprits are population growth, rising affluence, and the use of grain to fuel cars. On the supply side: soil erosion, aquifer depletion, the loss of cropland to nonfarm uses, the diversion of irrigation water to cities, the plateauing of crop yields in agriculturally advanced countries, and -- due to climate change -- crop-withering heat waves and melting mountain glaciers and ice sheets. Small-business bankruptcies rise 81% in California

The Obama administration's new plan to give a boost to small businesses reflects continued trouble in that sector, which is facing new failures even as much of the nation's economy is stabilizing.
....As credit lines have shrunk and consumers have cut back on spending, thousands of small businesses have closed their doors over the last year. The plight of struggling firms has been aggravated by the reluctance of banks to lend money, said Brian Headd, an economist at the Small Business Administration's office of advocacy.
...."While bankruptcies are up, overall, small-business closures are up even more," Headd said.
....California has been particularly hard hit. The latest data show small-business bankruptcies up 81% in the state for the 12 months ended Sept. 30, compared with the previous year. Filings nationwide were up 44%, according to the credit analysis firm Equifax Inc. (full story)

The 49-year-old Haslet housewife is upping the stakes, putting down twice as many tomato, onion and jalapeño plants in a 15-by-15-foot raised garden at her mother’s home "because it’s fun and because of the economy." McNeill is not alone. From seed producers and greenhouse growers to retailers, all are reporting booming sales. All attribute it largely to family financial issues.
...."This happens every time we have a downturn in the economy," said Rick Archie, the third-generation owner of Archie’s Gardenland on the west side of Fort Worth, founded during in 1934. He estimates that vegetable plant sales have increased 20 to 25 percent so far this year.
.... At Russell Feed in Haltom City, manager Carl Cathey reports that his vegetable plant sales have soared 50 to 60 percent this year.
...."Of course, a lot of it are replacements for people who got frosted out and came back for more," Cathey conceded. "But all in all, people seem just hungry to grow vegetables. Seeds are just now starting to move, but they’re up about 20 percent in the last couple of weeks."
....Park Seeds of South Carolina rushed out multiseed packets called Victory Garden, lifting the name from successful federal programs during World Wars I and II that boosted home garden production.
.... W. Atlee Burpee Co., the Pennsylvania-based pioneer in the mail-order seed business, which also supplies major chains, matched Park Seeds with Money Garden. The latter is also priced at $9.95 for a packet that will grow six vegetables.

Swat Team conducts food raid in rural Ohio

.....On Monday, December 1, a SWAT team with semi-automatic rifles entered the private home of the Stowers family in LaGrange, Ohio, herded the family onto the couches in the living room, and kept guns trained on parents, children, infants and toddlers, from approximately 11 AM to 8 PM. The team was aggressive and belligerent. The children were quite traumatized. At some point, the “bad cop” SWAT team was relieved by another team, a “good cop” team that tried to befriend the family. The Stowers family has run a very large, well-known food cooperative called Manna Storehouse on the western side of the greater Cleveland area for many years.
.....There were agents from the Department of Agriculture present, one of them identified as Bill Lesho. The search warrant is reportedly supicious-looking. Agents began rifling through all of the family’s possessions, a task that lasted hours and resulted in a complete upheaval of every private area in the home. Many items were taken that were not listed on the search warrant. The family was not permitted a phone call, and they were not told what crime they were being charged with. They were not read their rights. Over ten thousand dollars worth of food was taken, including the family’s personal stock of food for the coming year. All of their computers, and all of their cell phones were taken, as well as phone and contact records. The food cooperative was virtually shut down. There was no rational explanation, nor justification, for this extreme violation of Constitutional rights.
.....Presumably Manna Storehouse might eventually be charged with running a retail establishment without a license. Why then the Gestapo-type interrogation for a 3rd degree misdemeanor charge? This incident has raised the ominous specter of a restrictive new era in State regulation and enforcement over the nation’s private food supply.
.....Is there some rabid new interpretation of an existing drug law that considers food a controlled substance worthy of a nasty SWAT operation? Or worse, is there a previously unrecognized provision(s) pertaining to food in the Homeland Security measures? Some have suggested that it was merely an out-of-control, hot-to-trot ODA agent, and, if so, this would be a best-case scenario. Composting to the Ultimate - We composte EVERYTHING!!

.....Here's how we do it: We save all of our organic stuff (banana peels, coffee grounds, yucky lettuce that was forgotten in the back of the veggie drawer, you know, "organic" stuff - anything the dogs and cats don't take care of), and put it in a triple bin a little way away from the house. Topped with straw, grass clippings, garden weedings, etc., it will break down into useable fertilizer in pretty quick order. .....(Occasionally, I get a wild hair and add some brand or the other of compost starter to enhance the biological process, but this is really not necessary.) This stuff is great used in the garden as either a worked in supplement to the soil or as a mulch or side dressing for the plants or fruit trees. (you will likely still have some volunteer tomato plants, but everything besides the tomato seeds breaks down very well, and we have found the freebies to be pretty darned good eatin')
.....Since we are out in the boonies and have no piped in water to waste, we also use composting toilets. I highly recommend getting a grip on "the Humanure Handbook" and studying up before you tackle this - There are sites on the net, too, and you will find a sampling of them linked below.
.....We use the sawdust bucket method. (The $1200.00 electrically enhanced commercial model proved more difficult to keep going, smellier, and much less adequate to the task) We have two very inexpensive "Sawdust Toilets", each consisting of a 5 gallon bucket set in a wooden cabinet (as outlined in "the Humnaure Handbook") for the downstairs bathroom. (With a family of five, the "two holer" is a real blessing.) We prime them each with a 1 inch layer of sawdust, then the user covers (thoroughly) whatever they deposit with a layer of sawdust (to discourage odor and flies...it really does work, too)... Microsoft leaks tool that lets law enforcement turn off your hard disk encryption, clear your passwords, and scoop up batches of evidence.
....I’ve maintained for some time that Microsoft has programs that fit on bootable USB sticks and allow law enforcement to override your Microsoft Bitlocker, Encrypted File System (EFS), and password data, and gather all your private information to use against you later in a criminal trial.
....That system is called COFEE, for Computer Online Forensic Evidence Extractor. (Microsoft page about it here)
....It has been known for some time that Microsoft has backdoored Windows for the US government, when Microsoft got careless and forgot to obscure a cryptographic signing key given to the NSA back in 1998. (The backdoor is still there, just obscured now), but people don’t tend to believe me about COFEE.
....If you use Microsoft Bitlocker or EFS, you’re wasting your time, because Microsoft gives these devices out to law enforcement on down to your local police department. If the police get a warrant and seize your machine, and you’re using Bitlocker or EFS, you’ve essentially just handed them the evidence and the only difference the “Microsoft security” will make is that it might cost the cops an extra 2 minutes to boot off the COFEE key and unlock your hard drive. Microsoft Gives Vista Backdoor Keys To The Police

It's long been assumed that Microsoft has built in various "backdoors" for law enforcement to get around its own security, but now reader Kevin Stapp writes in to let us know that the company has also been literally handing out the keys to law enforcement. Apparently, they're giving out special USB keys that simply get around Microsoft's security, allowing the holder of the key to very quickly get forensic information (including internet surfing history), passwords and supposedly encrypted data off of a laptop. While you can understand why police like this, the very fact that the backdoor is there and that a bunch of these USB keys are out there pretty much guarantees that those with nefarious intent also have such keys. The second you build in such backdoors, no matter how noble the reason, you can rest assured that they will be used by criminals as well. No matter what, for those of you who didn't already know it, now you have more evidence as to why trusting Microsoft's "security" isn't such a good idea. Update: Some folks in the comments, and Ed Bott, claim that this post is a misreading of the original story. The USB key includes a bunch of standard tools, not access to a "backdoor." The confusion, on my part, was due to the original article claiming that the device "can decrypt passwords and analyze a computer's Internet activity, as well as data stored in the computer." In saying so, it appeared that the device must have access to a backdoor to decrypt the password -- but an update claims that it's merely "password security auditing technologies." (full story)

He laid out a bleak sequence of events: homeowners defaulting on mortgages, trillions of dollars of mortgage-backed securities unraveling worldwide and the global financial system shuddering to a halt. .....It came to our attention today, that the world's largest producer of storable foods, Mountain House, is currently out of stock of ALL #10 cans of freeze dried foods, not just the Turkey Tetrazzini. They will NOT have product now through 2009.
.....This information was learned by a Mountain House dealer who shared it with me this morning. In personally talking with the company immediately after, Mountain House verified the information is true. Customer service stated, "I'm surprised they don't have this posted on the website yet." She said they have such a backlog of orders, Mountain House will not be taking any #10 can food requests through the remainder of this year and all of the next.
